1.Dubovsky site plan/Saw Mill River Road – Public Informational Hearing
Two area property owners expressed concern about the size of the proposed development and runoff issues from the abutting trailway. Given the site’s proximity to the reservoir, they also said the plan should be reviewed by the DEP.

2. Self storage facility- Staples Plaza: Public hearing
The Board closed the public hearing but left open a 10 day comment period. The applicant was asked to provide more information about the lighting plan, especially along the western perimeter, and how the lights would impact abutting homeowners. One resident (not immediately impacted by the plan) called the zoning change allowing self storage in a shopping center “despicable downzoing” and said it “looks like favoritism.”

3. Faith Bible Church/Mohegan Avenue – Public hearing
The Board conducted a lengthy and often acrimonious hearing on the plan to replace the existing church with a new larger building. The hearing was adjourned with many zoning issues needing further interpretation from the building inspector and/or the Zoning Board.

4. Adrian Auto Body/Route 202
The Board approved a one year extension of an excavation permit so that the applicant could complete the work that had been started on the hillside on the eastern side of the property.
