Assemblyman Steve Katz (R,C,I-Yorktown) joined state legislators from across the aisle yesterday to host a public forum regarding Governor Cuomo’s budget proposal. The event took place at the Greenburgh Town Hall.
“The New York State budget affects people directly and it is essential to get their input on it. This budget has to be balanced, it has to be on time, and fairly represent the needs of our residents,” Katz said. “It was great today to hear from the citizens of New York. All too often the voices of those we represent get drowned out in Albany, even though the best legislating is done with the full confidence and in full communication with those who send us there every two years.”
