1. County Taxes

2. Courtesy of the Floor
a. Sultana Ridge Pool Association: The association presented the Board with a check for $2,000 in partial payment of unpaid back taxes..

b. Senior Clubs: The Board postponed taking action on the 2013 agreements that would provide six senior clubs with program funds pending the receipt of additional information.

c. Town Board Minutes: The Town Clerk’s office was asked to update the Town Board minutes page on the Town’s web site. It was noted that the last available minutes were for the October 19, 2010 meeting.

3. Appointments
The Board appointed Patricia Caporale to the position of Comptroller. She will serve at the pleasure of the Board or until the next Town election.

4. Public hearings on changes to the parking requirements for the JV Mall and other commercial zones.
In separate actions, the Board approved amendments to the zoning code that:

a) reduce the minimum number of required parking spaces in all commercial zones, except the JV Mall zone, from 5 spaces/square feet of building to 4 spaces/square feet. Costco was specifically exempted from the law.

b) establish a 4.25/1,000 square feet of gross leasable space parking requirement for the JV Mall zone to replace the existing 30 year old “amorphous” parking requirement.

5. Informational meeting on fluoridation
Set January 22 for an informational meeting on whether the Town should continue adding fluoride to its water supply.
