Dr. Matthew Zeppieri Named Medical Director of Open Door Family Medical Centers’ Ossining Site
(Ossining, NY) – Dr. Daren Wu, Chief Medical Officer of Open Door Family Medical Centers has announced that Dr. Matthew Zeppieri has been named as the new Medical Director of Open Door’s Ossining site.
Dr. Zeppieri joined Open Door in 2009 as an osteopathic physician specializing in Family Medicine at the Port Chester site. A graduate of Siena College where he received a BS in Biology, and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received his DO, Dr. Zeppieri did a clinical rotation as a third year medical student at Open Door’s former Rye Brook site.
“We were thrilled when Dr. Zeppieri returned to Open Door after graduating from medical school and residency training. Although he quickly developed a large patient base when he joined us in our Port Chester facility, he moved over to our Ossining site to answer an important need at our headquarter site in Ossining,” said Dr. Wu. “I’m delighted that he has assumed a leadership position in our organization, to help spearhead a range of clinical projects intended to advance the care of so many individual patients and their families.”
In 2011 there were 65,742 patient visits to Open Door’s Ossining site which provides medical, dental, mental health and chronic disease management care.
