TOWNSEND ENDORSED FOR U.S. SENATE
The American Conservative Union Political Action Committee has given its endorsement to Jay Townsend for U.S. Senate from New York. Speaking at a Buffalo news conference, ACU PAC Chairman David A. Keene said there is no clearer choice in the country than that between Jay Townsend and the incumbent, Chuck Schumer.
“As a small business owner, Jay Townsend knows full well the damage the Obama policies have done to the U.S. economy and there has been no greater champion of these policies than Chuck Schumer,” Keene said. “Jay Townsend will help stop the job-killing energy tax known as cap and trade and will fight the EPA’s effort to impose these draconian policies by administrative fiat. There is no greater champion of these bad programs in the Senate than Chuck Schumer. Jay Townsend will fight to repeal the government takeover of health care and support real reform that allows people to have the health insurance they want. There is no greater champion of the government takeover of health care in the Senate than Chuck Schumer.”
Keene pointed out that Schumer has spent his entire adult life of 35 years in public office .
“Far from providing solutions to the country’s problems, Chuck Schumer is the problem,” Keene said. “Jay Townsend has what it takes to give New York the representation it deserves. ACU PAC is proud to endorse Jay Townsend for Senate.”
